Brazilian Soccer Academy is continuously seeking qualified players for Academy activities. There is no fee for evaluation.
Please register online to see available programs.
Evaluations generally will put the players through skills assessment and game scenarios with real-time group soccer situations. During this time, Alessandro Moreira and Academy staff will assess technical and tactical soccer skills. Players may be invited to participate at camps or with one of the scheduled Academy training sessions for evaluation.
Schedule, Location & Registration
Schedules will be arranged and communicated on a team by team basis.
Locations are typically in the North Hills, McCandless, North Allegheny, Wexford and Cranberry areas although all interested players all certainly welcome.

Expected Academy Team Schedule
Coach Moreira will be focusing on creating a training environment to compete at the highest levels of youth soccer sanctioned through US Club Soccer. This will allow the teams to participate in organized league and tournament play. There will be outdoor training Fall, Spring and Summer and indoor training during Winter months. There may also be some indoor training in Summer. It is expected there will be 2 weekly training sessions and 3 annual tournaments for full sides.
Fall outdoor training is expected to start in August, and continue through the end of November. League games, friendlies, and outdoor soccer tournaments will occur during this time. Over the remainder of the fall and in the winter, from December through March, Academy teams will train indoors focusing primarily on technical skill development and small-sided technique. BSA will look to participate in indoor games at the Spire Institute and in local futsal leagues. The spring outdoor schedule will mirror the fall, and start in April continuing through the beginning of June. Summer offerings in June and July may include camps, a summer tournament and there will be some break to allow families and players to schedule some vacation time.
Additional optional strength and conditioning training will offered throughout the entire soccer year. Other competition like 3v3, futsal league, and other soccer related activities will be available as appropriate.
Offers for academy participation will be sent out via email. Each player will have to accept their offer or their position on the team will be offered to another attendee.
